I booked this hotel because it was near my daughter’s college unit. The reception was nice and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable
I went to breakfast at 10:10 – the coffee was served until 11:00. There was no bacon, no sausages, no croissants, no fresh fruit. I waited 25 minutes, then I gave up. Other people in the room were very angry – the staff did not apologize – in fact they seemed to want to avoid contact with us. Apparently the bacon arrived about 35 minutes after my arrival. I complained to the front desk and was refunded the full price of the breakfast.
It was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly.
Directly in front of my room were several busy railroad tracks, and even with the windows closed, it was very noisy, so I could only sleep a few hours without trains.
The value for money and the staff were very helpful and had a great customer
My room was next to the railroad and it was loud on Monday in the first hour.
My room was 10 feet from a crowded railroad. It was almost impossible to sleep and I had a hard time working the next day.
Great place for you to see London from … just around the corner from the metro river boat … and the Tower of London in 5 minutes … a great stay and the management were on hand …. use again ..
For a double bed it was standard but very clean, very good price and the breakfast was great. Easy access to the London Underground Hole was a 2 minute walk
Air conditioning was the only problem as it was very hot but when they reported they gave us a fan.
Hair dryer in the room needed
Bring earplugs! If you like trains, this hotel is right next to the slopes! My room, 107, was almost level with the tracks, and at 5 in the morning I was awakened every few minutes by the trains slamming! When I left to ask what my stay was like, I told them how disappointed I was with the noise. The receptionist said very seriously, “Did not anyone give you earplugs when you arrived?
The staff was very polite and helpful. Great neighborhood – although the hotel is in a very unrepresentative side street. Very good price for the neighborhood.
Noise on the rail side – not disturbing if you work late (or go out) – do not recommend for a sleepy stay – but whoever travels to London to sleep … 🙂
